Idea Napkin No. 2

1. As a future Veterinarian, I’ve always aspired to know more about the business aspect of things because I one day want to own my own clinic. I’ve has very little experience in the business aspect of the job but I have done vet internships, where I’ve learned a lot from. As an innovation minor, we’ve learned many skills involved in the entrepreneur aspect which have helped me a lot in this class. I see this product solving my own personal unmet need which many other people will also relate to.

2. I am offering this product to any young people who use MacBook computers a lot. The unmet need would be the adapters made now-a-days that don’t provide enough qualities for the customer’s needs. This product with do everything possible to need the needs of the customer.

3. I am offering this to young people all over the United States. The product will be sold on Amazon by my company and will be unique to every model of MacBooks. I believe it will make more money in cities like LA, Miami, New York, etc. because these young people use their computers more than small towns.

4. My customers will most likely use cash to pay for this device because it will not be expensive and customers will not probably want to spend small amounts on their credit or debit cards.

5. What sets this product/company apart from everyone else would have to be the fact that we put quality above the price. We want the customers to be satisfied with this product and will provide 30 days of insurance in case the product malfunctions.

I definitely believe that all of these core values come together to help shape the product/ company. Not only do these points help me shape the structure of what I’m selling but it gives me a better game plan because I get to write everything down.

I did not receive any bad feedback or any feedback in areas that I could improve but I believe that the only weak part of my business is where I would sell the product and how much I would sell the product for.

  1. Hey Laura! I enjoyed reading your post. I think it is so important to be able to self reflect on your own ideas and product. Even though you didn’t receive feedback on the last one, I can tell you took the time to criticize your own business plan to make it even better! Your personality and your business plan seem to go great together. Great job!

  2. Laura this post is great, as I mentioned on your other post Apple is a frustrating company because they force adapters on their consumers and this only causes frustration. I also like that even though you didn’t receive feedback you went back to analyze your business plan to find a way to make it even better than it was originally.
